The Principality of Monaco is fully engaged in action that would cut air pollution from heating sources, shipping and land transport, and waste, all part of bigger plans for energy and environmental transition in the country. These actions will contribute to meeting Monaco’s ambitious targets under the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and to safeguard human health.
The Monaco Government is fully mobilized to tackle the threat of air pollution to climate stability and human health, but only together can we face this problem at the heart of our quality of life. We see the complementarity and co-benefits of the actions conducted in the framework of the Energy and Environmental Transition on mobility, waste and energy, and the health objectives in the fight against air pollution."
