Campeche, Mexico is pursuing a Sustainable Development Plan that includes more green space, bicycle and walking paths, and a long-term plan for efficient mass transit. The state government is working with academic institutions and the national government to develop tools and policies for regulating and mitigating air pollution.
The state government of Campeche once again ratifies its commitment to the environment and its willingness to build regional alliances that allow progress towards a model of sustainable development, thinking globally but acting locally.
