It’s a record: London entered week three of 2018 without breaching legal air quality limits for the first time in 10 years, according to the Evening Standard.
The city regularly breached the hourly pollution cap for nitrogen dioxide within the first few days of each new year for the past decade.
The good news was attributed to anti-pollution measures and the windy, wet weather that kicked off the year.
