San Antonio prohibits idling for large vehicles:
Five minute limit

Starting January 1, 2017, vehicles weighing 14,000 pounds or more are prohibited from idling more than five minutes (30 minutes for buses) within the City of San Antonio.

Exemptions are made for some emergency and extenuating circumstances.

Why is idling large vehicles harmful to public health?
