San Antonio envisions a resilient future with the SA Tomorrow Sustainability Plan, a roadmap for healthy people, healthy environment and clean air. The strategic plan focuses on energy, food systems, green buildings and infrastructure, land use and transportation, natural resources, public health and solid waste.
Air quality is a significant priority for the Alamo Region, as it has an impact on our community’s public and economic health. The city of San Antonio’s air quality mission is based on two predominant values: the health of our residents and a growing economy that benefits the entire community while not negatively impacting public health.
